I think I feel them ....

I felt some slight butterfly movements in my tummy when I was in my 16 weeks and when I entered the 17 weeks, the movements became a little stronger, and I felt them more often. This part of pregnancy was so much of fun and every now and then I would just whisper to my baby to give mommy some kicks! Harder kicks so that I can feel them real strong.. I don't mind if it aches but I think it's fun anticipating for those kicks and movements.

And well, just only our darling gave me some "rolls" feeling in the tummy... I felt like something is rolling inside and it doesn't feel like kicks, more towards rolling.. perhaps our baby is having some somersault exercise! Haha! So much of fun...............

And morning sickness is already far far behind, no longer felt nausea of food and I feel so energetic! Energetic means time for shopping... hehehe. Can't wait for our first baby shopping in the Expo early of May. We've already allocated our budget for each item and hopefully we can grab cheap deals there.

Oh, and lastly.... my friend asked me how much is my weight now and oh yes, this is a NOT SO NICE question. I was absolutely not happy when she asked me this question. Well, I know that she went for dieting and she lost few kgs, kudos to you but can you please don't ask me this question to a mom-to-be or a planning-mom-to-be? I bet you know that pregnant women/wanting-to-get-pregnant-women cannot go on diet. And yes, I know that I've grown fatter... but I don't mind, as long as am carrying a healthy and happy baby. Even though I don't mind "a lot", but I still mind "a little". She didn't stop there, every 1-2 hours she talked bout weight, how to maintain your body, and stuffs like that... sigh.

Anyway, put the weight topics aside and yes, I'm still over the moon with those baby movements. Indeed, a happy baby is always a happy mom! Thank you Lord! =)

The Bump @ 16 weeks

Praise God! We are entering the 5th month of pregnancy and here was the bump at 16 weeks 2 days when we were preparing for our monthly checkup a.k.a saying HI to our darling. Bump is getting bigger and yes, am happy. It still depends on the clothes that I'm wearing to make proud of my bump and most of my friends are still not aware that I'm pregnant. Bump is still not announcing itself yet. Soon... Soon... I will let our baby to be proud of announcing himself/herself into this world!

A nearer view...

And a further view...

The choices of clothes in my wardrobe are getting lesser and lesser as weeks go by. I haven't shop for any maternity wear as I'm still able to fit into some of the stretchable dresses that I bought long long ago thru online. I don't feel really comfortable with pants so I've put aside all my pants/shorts. Welcome to the world of dresses... =)

Thank you Lord.... 23 more weeks to go as we hit the 17 weeks this week! Love you babe!

Gynae Visit at 16 weeks - Our darling!

Yipppieeee!!! I'm soooo happyyyyy today! We had our checkup last Sat, 16 Apr 2011 at 16 weeks 2 days and our baby is so healthy and growing at the right track! BPD (our baby's head) measures 34.1mm but, we forgot to ask to check on our baby's CRL. BPD shows that our baby is 16 weeks 4 days and EDD is 27/9/2011. Dr Lee was saying that our baby is active! Yes, God answers our prayer! We saw from the scan that our baby was moving around his/her arms and legs actively. And yes, baby said HI to us and we saw the nice nice long fingers. Thank you Lord.

But, our placenta is low lying and hopefully this will go back to its right position when the uterus expands and as the pregnancy progresses. Praying hard... cause I didn't want to have any c-sect but a natural birth.

At the end of the checkup, we got to hear our darling's heartbeat... so nice! Thank you Lord again. The next checkup will be 20 weeks on 14 May and we can't wait to have a glimpse on our baby again.

Oh Yes, we will be shopping for baby stuffs 2 weeks later, 7 May during the Expo at MidValley. Hopefully we can grab some really cheap deals in order to save more.

The symptoms in 2nd Tri..

Thank God that we have made it through the entire first tri and now we are heading towards the 2nd tri. And the pregnancy symptoms changed a little.

In 1st tri:
- Period like cramps when we first tested positive. Lasted for the whole month and then gone. But whenever we mark the new week of pregnancy, then there will be slight cramp.
- Morning sickness, not really in the first few weeks of pregnancy, only nausea. But started vomiting when 1st tri almost end, from 11 weeks onwards.
- Breast tenderness lasted from the day we tested positive and slowly decrease as the 1st tri almost end.
- Gas! A "good friend" of mine but I wish you weren't here... lol.

In 2nd tri:
- Slight cramps here and there when entering the 2nd tri.
- Urge to pee... initially I thought I was having urine infection again, but I was wrong. Indeed the urge to pee, but only verryyy lil pee is part of the pregnancy symptoms.
- Morning sickness, still some nausea and vomiting subside to only once a week, especially when having milk in the morning.
- Breast tenderness decreases, not as pain as in the 1st tri.
- Gas! Still a good friend of mine!

Yippieee!!! We will be having our 16 week 2 days checkup this coming Sat, 16 Apr 2011! Excited!! =D

The Bump @ 14 weeks

Picture says a thousand of words and wow, we have grown so much! It still depends on what type of shirt I'm wearing, if I wear dresses that are loose, I can't show off my bump proudly because people won't notice anything. But if I wear this out, those people that know I'm pregnant will certainly say you are showing! Hehehe...

Thank you Lord! This bump was taken at the end of 14 weeks, which we took it a bit later at 15 weeks 1 day. I somehow felt some movements, but I'm not really certain if it is, anyway, we shall wait till the real strong kick comes in! =)
