Boost Immune System

Seriously, I'm not joking and I really need to boost up my immune system. Ever since I started pregnant, I fall sick almost every 2 weeks, it was like a trend now. I started off having fever in Jan, and then fever again in beginning of Feb, before CNY and then diarrhea after CNY and now, flu + sore throat end of Feb. This is no fun at ALL and I bind all those viruses and bacterias and germs in the name of Jesus! And well, this is not a good impression at all especially I'm working. Most of the time I used up my MC and now, I sacrifice my AL. Initially I thought I could reserve my AL when baby is born so that I can have more time with our baby. Sigh.......

Hopefully this is the last time I fall sick, it is not fun when you fall sick during pregnancy because most of the medicine you can't take and even if doc said ok, I'm still not rest assured that it is safe. So, I rather use the natural method, drink more water, rest, cover with blanket until sweat ... hopefully our baby is doing well and have such a strong immune system. Don't follow mommy ok...

Anyway, today our baby mark 9 weeks! Big claps to our baby for going through all the developments thus far! It is a big milestone and few more weeks we will bid 1st trimester goodbye.

Your baby is growing like crazy during pregnancy week 9. By now, most of the aspects of your baby's physical structure, such as head, arms, legs, and torso are in place. If you were to peek in on your little one, you'd find they resemble a miniature human being (one with a very large head!). Because your baby's organs and limbs are forming, in the next few weeks, your baby will be putting on weight. Your baby's tail should have disappeared by now, and your baby's organs and muscles should be functioning on their own.

Keep it up Baby! Love you!

Gynae Visit at 8 weeks - Grow baby Grow!

At 8 weeks and 2 days checkup on last Sat, 19 Feb 2011, again... we saw such a strong and consistent heartbeat of our baby. Thank you God so much for answering our prayer! I just can't stop thanking God in my heart when I saw the flickering consistent heartbeat. Indeed, our baby is growing, growing really well. We were supposed to be 8 weeks 2 days, and scan showed that our baby is 8 weeks 4 days! 2 days extra which means our baby's growth is perfect! Thank you God so much....

The next appointment set to be 10 weeks as the gynae would like to monitor this pregnancy closely. And well, we believe everything is going to work perfectly fine because we prayed and we asked! God answers prayers.... =)

Thank you Lord!
